Commissioned Portraiture of Horses
I really love Horses (and all animals really) ! They are all beautiful beings and each has their own special character and attitude, which is both a challenge and a joy for me to depict in my portraits! It is well known that the portrayal of horses is a very hard thing to do … certainly, to depict them accurately and realistically, and yet to still endow them with ‘life’ and ‘spirit’ is something that I pride myself in.
All paintings sold will come with a ‘Certificate of Authenticity’ – a very desirable addition to the paintings either when given as a gift to a loved one, or when keeping as an item both to treasure and to hold as an investment for the future.
When doing the portrait, I require photos of the horse (the favourite one that you would like used, but also others to see the colours and features in different lights etc. ) The photos should be of a good quality and size - either digital or hard copy. All photos are returned unharmed with the completed Portrait.
I am also interested in understanding your horses character, likes and dislikes, temperament etc. - it helps for me to get to ‘know’ your horse, so that I can really bring their portrait to life. |

MURPHY This pastel portrait of Murphy was done on the olive coloured support (always looks very classy!) and the size was 50 x 40cm. He looked truly beautiful in his frame when completed.

CHUCKY This coloured pencil painting of Chucky was commissioned as an 18th Birthday present by a lovely lady for her daughter. He looked so gorgeous completed in his frame, and not only did he make a wonderful portrait, he also looked wonderful on a T-shirt and other gift lines -
All portraits can be reproduced in a number of different ways - on clothings, mugs, t-shirts, gift cards, stickers and more...catalogues of these types of items are supplied after the portrait has been completed. Quality prints are also available at a reasonable cost, to share with friends and family if desired.
