The third sketch from the Rockingham Castaways exhibition… (the first two i uploaded in the last post on here)  this time done in acrylic in my Zeta – Stillman and Birn A5 size sketchbook, using acrylic paint and some watercolour pencils for detail… this is such a brilliant exhibition … sculptures all along the beach, made from all recycled materials, I love it every year ?

We went down to the Rockingham Foreshore to see the ‘Castaways 2016’ exhibition.  We took lots of photos – the ocean makes a beautiful backdrop to all of the sculptures on display…   We sat for a little while and did a sketch ‘en plein air’ … it was lovely to sit in the warm sun and fresh air… this was the view, and the first of what will probably be many sketches on this theme… this was done using water ccolour and ink …

The actual sculpture was done by Carlo Sacchero and it was titled ‘The Plumbers Nightmare’
